Our storyYogi Bhajan, a master of Kundalini Yoga, came from India to the West at the end of the 1960s. In his yoga classes, he shared his spiritual knowledge with his students and served them an aromatic spice tea, which they affectionately named 'the tea of the Yogi'. This name later formed the basis for the Yogi Tea brand. The enjoyment of the tea with its pleasant aroma and taste led the students to inner calmness and serenity, opening them to the world of Ayurveda as a philosophy. Yogi Bhajan inspired them to seek their spiritual equilibrium in the daily practice of this Indian world view. It also includes mindfulness towards fellow human beings, nature and oneself.Yogi Bhajan invited his students to pause, reflect on themselves and find inspiration for their souls. With the yogic words of wisdom on each teabag and the yoga exercises on the bottom of each individual Yogi Tea package, we invite you to a lifestyle of mindfulness and the enjoyment of a delicious cup of Yogi Tea.Serve your spirit.
